Fire Department

Our Fire Department consists of volunteer positions serving Carbon County and parts of Emery & Duchesne Counties through interagency agreements. All personnel have taken the National Incident Management classes (NIMS) as required by the federal government and officers have taken additional NIMS courses as required. Personnel are required to receive training as WFF1, FF1, HazMat Awareness, and Health Care Provider First Aid/CPR. In addition, some personnel have received FF2, HazMat Operations, EMT or EMT-A certification.
  • George Anderson - Fire Chief: FF1, FF2, WFF1, Hazmat Awareness, Inspector 1.
  • Anthony Powell - Lead Engineer/Firefighter: WFF1, Hazmat Awareness.
  • Cody Austin - Training Captain/Firefighter: FF1, WFF1, Hazmat Awareness, Hazmat Ops, Instructor 1 
  • Becky Clegg - Chief Aid/Lieutenant/Firefighter: FF1, FF2, WFF1, Hazmat Awareness, Hazmat Ops, Instructor 1, AEMT.
  • Mark Larsen - Lieutenant/Firefighter: FF1, FF2, WFF1, Hazmat Awareness, Hazmat Ops.
  • Will Ehler - Lieutenant/Firefighter: FF1, FF2, WFF1, Hazmat Awareness, Hazmat Ops, EMT.
  • Nathan Carlson - Firefighter: FF1, WFF1
  • Carlton Seth Wells - Firefighter: WFF1
  • Johnathan Grasso - Firefighter: WFF1
  • Christopher Gravett - Firefighter: WFF1, AEMT
