SCAM-FRAUD-THEFT
Please be aware that scams can take many forms, both online and in the real world. These scams may attempt to steal your personal information or money.
To protect yourself, please:
* Be cautious of unsolicited emails, phone calls, or messages, especially those requesting personal information.
* Research any organization or company contacting you before providing them with money or information.
* Avoid clicking on suspicious links or attachments.
* Be skeptical of offers that appear too good to be true.
If you receive any suspicious communication, the best practice is to ignore it and sever contact by blocking the phone number or email address. For further guidance, consult your financial institution. It can not be stressed enough that 99% of the time it is a scam!

Robert received a text stating:
Apple Approval Notice
We have noticed that your Apple iCloud was recently used at "APPLE STORE-CA" for $143.95, paid by Apple Pay Pre Authorization. Also some suspicious sign in request and apple pay activation request detected. That looks like suspicious to us. In order to maintain the security and privacy of your account we have placed those request on hold. Your Photos, Data, Bank information and Cards are at risk. If NOT you? talk to an Apple Representative. Failing may lead to auto debit and change will not be reversed. Call +18082389814 immediately to cancel this charge.
Robert calls this number and is connected with a person that may or may not speak with a heavy accent and may be hard to understand. Robert is asked investigative questions from the scammer.

Scammer: Ohh Hello Mr. Robert can I confirm your Phone number?
Robert: 911-911-9111
Scammer: Thank you Mr. Robert
Scammer: Can I Help you Mr. Robert
Robert: I received a text saying I may be charged for something I did not intend to buy or want.
Scammer: Yes Mr. Robert, I see it right here. Can I have you confirm your bank account to return the money?
